Wooden Threads a list of feelings and character that may be drawn from the wood

Most of our wood has come from Steve at The Board Hoarder (http://theboardhoarder.com) who describes himself as "the home of recycled exotic wood". Steve is very good to work with.
Prior to finding Steve, I purchased over 75% of my wood as used, left over, recycled, reclaimed, etc. Since much of my work is small in scale, about half of the 'new' wood I have bought are small, 'throw away' sizes.

	Redwoods are among the tallest trees in the world. They grow and endure. They have a great influence on the world around them and the world in turn influences them. The Redwoods bring the qualities of strength, determination and courage when it is included in spiritual or material endeavors.
	Purpleheart is a spiritual wood that enhances creativity and knowledge. One of the best woods when dealing with spiritual healing and health issues. Purpleheart is helpful in letting go of negative energies that create strife. A Maple tree has traditionally been thought to encourage good health and a long life.
	Once the fir tree (person) has found a clear aim in life, then powers are set free that turn them into a man or a woman of many talents. Kindness and openness are their mental cornerstones.
